We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Plumber

Location: Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Introduction

  • We are seeking a skilled maintenance plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate must understand the mechanics of reverse osmosis (RO) and will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal in residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to install membranes for the RO system and flush the membranes
  • Ability to reload fiber cylinders
  • Install plumbing systems and fixtures in existing facilities and renovation projects.
  • Inspect and repair plumbing systems and fixtures for leaks and other issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies such as clogged drains, broken pipes, etc.
  • Provide estimates for plumbing installations and repairs.
  • Adhere to current plumbing codes and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other team members.
  • Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites
  • Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to management

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a maintenance plumber or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Experience with hand and power tools used in plumbing.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in cramped or awkward spaces.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training preferred.
  • Valid plumber's license (where required).

Work Environments

  • Salary: N70,000 - N80,000 monthly.
  • Shared accommodation is provided in a location.
