1.) Commercial Manager/Officer Ref: COMM/MGR/09/2012
Requirements
- Liaise with IOCs and other related companies
- Responsible for the handling of bids and supervision of bidding team to ensure success of projects
- Lead project management function and manage all company’s projects.
- Review project budgets, costs and expenditures and ensures that the project are well managed within cost.
- Develop and establish good review programmes for future improvements
- Undertake any ad-hoc duties as may be required.
- Ability to source for vessels at short notices.
Requirements:
- Must possess a good University degree or its equivalent in the social sciences, holders of Masters Degree will be added advantage.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must possess a good technical knowledge of various vessels used offshore i.e. lift boats, drilling, support vessels e.t.c
- Must possess Minimum of 5years relevant working experience preferably in the marine logistic services of the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledgeable in fixed/floating terminal works, forecast business budgeting, planning project controls, project management and contracts administration.
- Possess strong business acumen and negotiation ability.
- Must possess good inter-personal skills and able to work with others in a fast-paced working environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Must possess good problem solving skills.
- Ability to travel at short notice.
2.) Consultants Ref: CONSLT/09/2012
Responsibilities
- Responsible for business relationships with IOCs and other related companies in the of and gas industry.
- Advices Management on business prospects.
- Maintain effective working relationships and communications with external customers and suppliers.
- Extrapolates ideas into product requirements and applying the philosophy of concurrent design to project processes, schedules and budgets
- Follow through and support the Commercial Manager in the identification of new opportunities in the industry
- Plan, direct and coordinate projects and programmes to ensure that they meet objectives
- Ability to deliver projects within the critical path from scoping through to close-out.
- Manage (through a combination of document authoring and managing of document authors) a wide variety of project management deliverables including (but not limited to): project manuals/project execution plans, risk registers, project schedules, variation orders, and tracking registers, monthly project reports (MPRs), daily project reports (DPRs), progress meeting minutes etc.
- Lead and manage the development and implementation of the PEP (Project Evaluation Plan), project set up and close out for each project in accordance to company’s procedures.
Requirements:
- Must possess a good University degree or its equivalent in the social sciences, holders of Masters Degree will be added advantage.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have a good knowledge of the oil and gas industry especially marine operations
- Must be a member of the relevant and recognised professional bodies.
- Must be a retiree of any of the IOCs.
- Possess strong business acumen and negotiation ability.
- Must possess good inter-personal skills and able to work with others in a fast-paced working environment.
- Abilty to work independently and as a team.
- Must possess good problem solving skills.
- Ability to travel at short notice.
