Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Sachet Technician to join our manufacturing team.
• The Lead Sachet Technician will be responsible for overseeing the operation of sachet filling machines, ensuring the production of high-quality sachet products in a timely manner.
• This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in machine operation and maintenance, and a commitment to quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation - Operate and monitor sachet filling machines to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Quality Control - Conduct regular quality checks on filled sachets to ensure they meet company standards for accuracy, consistency, and appearance.
• Maintenance - Perform routine maintenance on sachet filling machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
• Troubleshooting - Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions with sachet filling machines in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Training - Train and supervise machine operators to ensure proper operation and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Documentation - Maintain accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, and quality control checks.
• Safety - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in sachet production.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or B Eng.
• Proven experience operating and maintaining sachet-filling machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Technical training or certification in machine operation or maintenance.
