Job Title: Pipe Fitter

Job Description

• We are looking for a qualified and experienced Pipe Fitter's Mate to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal applicant will be providing support and assistance to a qualified pipe fitter on all assigned activities inside the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Fit and assemble structural templates and pipes from materials, such as angle iron, I-beams, and plate steel.
• Layout parts dimensions on worktable, using square and chalk line.
• Position parts in jig and files, chisels, and grinds parts, as indicated, to fit them together.
• Operate and use power saws, chipping knife and hand shears in cutting, bevelling and contouring metal work during work activities.

Requirements

• Minimum SSCE with not less than 5 years’ experience as a Pipe Fitter’s Mate.
• Basic knowledge on engineering drawings.
• Excellent in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the layout of piping systems.
• Ability to use various fitting tools/equipment.
