We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Rolling Mill)

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Tme

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Design and develop new rolling mill systems, components, and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on rolling mill equipment to minimize downtime.
• Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize rolling mill processes to improve product quality, reduce energy consumption, and increase throughput.
• Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to rolling mill upgrades, modernizations, and expansions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and quality assurance to ensure alignment and optimal performance.
• Safety and Quality: Ensure that all designs, maintenance, and processes meet safety standards and quality requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, applying best practices to continuously improve rolling mill operations.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in rolling mill design, maintenance, or operations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD design, simulation software (e.g., FEA), and rolling mill process simulation.
