Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team of drivers and trucks, coordinate routes and schedules, and ensure efficient and safe deliveries.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of drivers and trucks
• Coordinate and plan routes, schedules, and deliveries
• Ability to manage employees in union.
• Source and recruit quality drivers
• Manage driver relations and ensure fair compensation (fixed pay)
• Experience in managing employees in a unionized environment
• Implement and enforce safety and security protocols
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in logistics or transportation
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
• Experience with fleet management software and technologies
• Knowledge of managingSino Trucks (Howo)
