Job Summary

• The Accountant at Tharwa is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making processes.
• This role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining financial systems, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Provide support for tax preparation and filing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Salary
N350,000 / month.
