We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing regional sales, promotions, and campaigns
  • Planning and directing the training of new Sales Representatives
  • Directing and coordinating all sales activities
  • Preparing sales budgets and projections
  • Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints
  • Setting discount rates and determining price schedules
  • Advising distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
  • Setting sales quotas and goals
  • Overseeing and directing the performance of the sales team
  • Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sales manager (in a food production company)
  • BA./BSc in any discipline
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Leadership ability
  • Open to traveling outside Lagos when necessary
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good team player
  • Good interpersonal and people management skills and negotiating skills
  • Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, sound judgment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Collaborate with the stores account officer/contact person to raise new orders and follow up with payments
  • Monitor Sales Activities of all products during visitation to a stores
