We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Specialist

Location: Warri, Delta

Description 

  • Able to provide technical advice to the electrical crew in complex issues.
  • Continuously monitor the maintenance strategy and act on deviation as required.
  • Extensive knowledge in Testing, operation, and maintenance.
  • Preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, and troubleshooting experience.
  • HV /MV Power system network includes normal power and critical power distribution.
  • Switchgears, MCCs with various voltage levels up to 13.8 KV installed in oil and gas industry.
  • Power generation equipment (Steam or gas turbine driven) minimum 30 MW and critical Power generators. Knowledge in synchronizing, switching programs preparation and execution.
  • Power Transformers up to 50 MVA conservator and sealed types, Potential and current Transformers.
  • MV and LV motors (induction and synchronous)
  • MV, LV variable speed drives (Allen Bradley, Siemens), AC UPS & battery chargers.
  • Hazardous area classification.
  • Clear understanding of LOTO procedures.
  • Very good knowledge protective relaying principles.
  • Capable of interpreting protection matrix and settings.
  • Knowledge in protective relay logics, software (GE Multilins / Schneider), Trend, events, and settings download and upload.
  • Good working knowledge in Asset management systems (SAP /JDE)
  • Considerable experience in developing Job aids, critical take work procedures, Job safety analysis etc.
  • In-depth capability in interpreting electrical drawings, documents, and schematics, wiring diagram
  • Experience in resolving complex issues. Able to provide timely solutions.
  • Experience in participating in failure analysis, RCA process.
  • Review of critical and two-year operational spares.
  • Development and review QA/QC procedures
  • Electrical Responsible person as per Organization Electrical safe work practices
  • MV switching authorization

Requirements

  • Electrical Skill Assessment Team (ESAT) optional
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) – optional
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in Oil & Gas.
  • Must have EGTL Pitstops/Turnaround Maintenance works experience
