Description
- Lead team of delivery officers, responsible for fleet coordination, supporting the drivers, and oversight of asset management and inventory control while generating varied data for decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Delivery Officers to ensure adherence to schedules, and standard practice, and process trip data.
- Optimization of Mileage.
- Ensure truck availability for client usage.
- Manage maintenance and tyre costs.
- Monitor Breakages and Fuel Overages.
- Safety champion: accident reduction through strong drivers’ engagement and pep talks.
- Generation of varied data as required for reporting purposes.
Qualifications and Key Competencies
- B.Sc. Degree / HND in Social Science or any related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ cognate experience.
- Leadership, Negotiation, and Analytical Skills
- Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet (MS Excel) and strong in numbers
- Strong communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to demonstrate good Emotional Intelligence
- Safety knowledge
- Good knowledge of federal, state and city laws, statutes and ordinances.
