We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement / Product Manager (Retail Electronics)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary of Role

  • As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, contract management, and procurement.
  • Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing market trends, identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage Retail & Online portfolio and stock level per brand per model by which Retail budget plan is achieved.
  • A Procurement/Product Manager is responsible for managing and controlling all different vendors’ activities and communicate to the concerned parties whether internally or externally through different communication channels in order to achieve the organisation strategy, goals and objectives.
  • Build a strong relationship with the different suppliers and negotiate with them the GPs,
  • Rebates, incentive & payment terms and other facilities to maximize Raya’s benefits and profit.
  • Communicate promotions activities and mechanism to Retail & Online Team in a clear manner.
  • Manage in-store [POSM] branding elements with vendors [tables, life demos, leaflets, promoters…etc] to be regularly updated and maintained.
  • Report weekly and monthly required reports to vendors.
  • Monitor Raya’s achievement progression with vendors in order to secure rebates and all different payments from vendors as per agreements.
  • Prepare vendors claims by which the organisation collects the deserved amounts on time.
  • Design and update branding manual to be offered to the vendors in an adequate way, to show our branding slots availability.
  • Manage coding process and definition of Retail new models and SKUs with concerned parties.
  • Manage and control price updates with finance to be responsive to market dynamics.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees in Marketing, Business Administration or any other relevant field
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in consumer electronics experience, procurement, and product development.
  • Previous experience in retail operations is a must
  • Track record of driving sales growth.
