Job Title: Business Analyst 

Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• You will be responsible for the development of a comprehensive user journeys and use cases for all modules involved in implementing an auction marketplace, inspired by eBay.

Job Duties

• Break down user needs into detailed user stories
• Write detailed functional requirements and acceptance criteria for the product team
• Effectively guide the development team and make informed decisions
• Manage a cross-functional teams of developers, UX/UI designers, and QA testers
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure that everyone is aligned with project goals and objectives

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in related role
• Skilled in eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Able to engage with stakeholders, understand their needs, and ensure alignment with the project goals
• Can conduct workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present findings, and make informed decisions
• Has experience in creating process flow diagrams, use case diagrams, and other documentation to visualize the system and its processes
• Has proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage the project lifecycle, including sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Has experience with task management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana for tracking project progress and managing deliverables

Optional but Beneficial Skills:

• Has good domain knowledge i.e. understands e-commerce principles, auction dynamics, and marketplace models.
• Is well-versed in version control systems, development frameworks, and DevOps
• Is aware of best practices in UX/UI to ensure the marketplace is user-friendly and meets customer needs
• Can coordinate and manage UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure the product meets business requirements
• Understands QA processes and methodologies to ensure a high-quality product delivery
• Understands the technical aspects of software development, such as coding standards, testing methodologies, and deployment strategies.

• Salary Range: N250,000 - N400,000per month
• Flexible working around your day and work life balance
• 3 months’ contract (with possible extension)
