Job Title: Warehouse Officer

Location: Ajaokuta, Kogi
Employment Type: Full Time (Permanent)
Working Days: Monday - Saturday

About the Role

• Our client in the ceramics manufacturing industry is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to fill the role of Warehouse Officer.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management and smooth logistics.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods to verify quantities and conditions.
• Store and organize inventory items in designated areas, ensuring proper labelling and accessibility.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through physical counts and data entry.
• Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with transportation providers for efficient delivery and pickup of goods.
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.Sc or equivalent in Logistics / Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in warehouse management and inventory control.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical fitness to handle warehouse activities.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.

Experience:

• Warehouse: 5 years (Required)
• manufacturing industry: 5 years (Required).
