PG Consulting Limited - Our client, a Ceramics Manufacturing company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Officer

Location: Ajaokuta, Kogi
Employment Type: Full Time
Working Days: Monday-Saturday

About the Role

• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management and smooth logistics.

Role and Responsibilities

• Coordinates with the Lead HSE in the implementation of the Safety Work plan.
• Conduct periodic walk-through site inspections for identification of hazards and safety non-conformity.
• Carryout Induction and other in-house Safety Awareness programs.
• Coordinates with relevant section in conducting Hazard risk assessment, and issuance of permit to work system.
• Conducting accident investigation process and coordinate with Lead HSE in developing and implementing corrective action plans to reduce industrial accidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Relevant pure science and environmental field such as Chemistry, EnvironmentalScience, Biochemistry etc.
• 3 years minimum experience in a manufacturing plant
• Competency Training in Health Safety and Environment HSE level 2 & 3. Basic fire Safety 2 & 3.
• Certification from the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) will be an added advantage.
