Job Overview

• The Creche Staff will provide safe, stimulating, and nurturing care for children in the creche area.
• The staff member will supervise and engage with the children, provide snacks and meals, and ensure that the environment is clean and tidy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including play, storytime, and music
• Prepare and serve snacks and meals, following dietary restrictions and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized creche area, ensuring that toys and equipment are cleaned and disinfected regularly
• Monitor children's developmental progress and report any concerns to the supervisor
• Work collaboratively with other creche staff members and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in Early Childhood Education is a plus
• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Understanding of child development and best practices for infant and toddler care
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
