The National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA) is the premier professional body for the control, supervision, and regulation of credit management profession in Nigeria; formed in 1992 as the “Institute of Credit Administration –ICA” and became chartered by the Act of Parliament No.26 of 2022. The Institute is the most prestigious body of eminent credit management elites, business leaders and credit-using entrepreneurs in the country. The Institute is the Supervisory Authority for the Act, vested with the power to enhance, promote, and protect the interests of business credit providers and grantors; consulting with and making recommendations to the government, regulatory bodies, trade associations, academic community and other professional bodies on all matters relating to credit management.

Job Title: Government and Corporate Liaison Officer

Location: Utako, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Government and Corporate Liaison Officer to build and maintain credible relationships between the National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA) government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), Institutions, corporate partners, high fly business organizations, and stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will serve as a key interface between our organization and external partners, fostering collaboration, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust mutually beneficial relationship with government MDAs, corporate partners, and stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership goals with organizational objectives
  • Facilitate communication and resolve issues between partners and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments
  • Provide expert advice on government policies, regulations, and corporate affairs
  • Connect the Institute to top-level individuals, corporate organizations, ministries and departments of Government, as well as civil society organizations and organized private sector institutions.
  • Negotiate and manage partnership/collaborative agreements, contracts, and MOUs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and Masters in Business, Public Administration, English, or any related field
  • 5+ years of experience in government relations, corporate affairs, or a related field
  • The ideal candidate must be 35 years and above
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of government policies, regulations, and corporate affairs
  • Self-sending ability anchored on honesty and integrity in the handling of duties.

Salary
N200,000.00 – N250,000 / Month.
