Accounts Officer at Polo - Cico Farms and Estate Limited

Polo - Cico Farms and Estate Limited is a farm complex into Greenhouse farming to produce varieties of pepper on large scale as well as poultry and catfish production for both local and international markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Omoku, Rivers

Responsibilities

• Maintain receivable and payable accounts.
• Manage petty cash transactions.
• Gathering financial information and filling them accordingly for internal and external audit purposes.
• Posting of sales invoices, customers payments and imprest expenses into respective accounts.
• Reviewing source documents that assisted in generating accurate financial records on regular basis to identify and ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monthly bank statements reconciliation.
• Evaluating and improving accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Executes record filing system to improve document organization and management.
• Performs clerical support by handling range of routine and special requirements.
• Performs clerical tasks such as filing and mailing of office correspondence.
• Performs any other function so delegated.

Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc in Accounts / Financial Studies with at least 3 years of exeperience as an accounts officer.
• ICAN student membership will be an added advantage.
