We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Legal Counsel

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to the project, ensuring compliance with legal standards and protecting the project's interests.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including intellectual property, labor laws, and data protection.
• Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including advising on risk avoidance and legal implications of project decisions.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes, including coordinating with external legal counsel, and representing the project in legal proceedings if necessary.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relevant to the project.
• Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and safeguard the project's operations.
• Oversee the organization and management of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and compliance records.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to project leadership and teams on various legal matters affecting the project.
• Manage intellectual property issues, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, and ensure the protection of the project's intellectual assets.
• Conduct training sessions on legal issues and compliance for project team members to promote understanding and adherence to legal requirements.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
