Job Summary
- We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality education to children aged 2-5 years.
- The successful candidate will play a crucial role in laying the foundation for lifelong learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities that support the early development of children.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes the emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of all children, including those with special educational needs.
- Observe and assess children's progress, keeping detailed records and providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Encourage learning through play and creative activities, ensuring a balanced approach to education.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support each child’s learning and development.
- Create a safe and hygienic learning environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience working with children in an Early Years setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
