Job Title: Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• An experienced P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) Engineer with a minimum of 9 years of expertise in P&ID design and engineering within the Oil and Gas industry, a strong understanding of industry standards and project requirements.
• The P&ID Engineer will be responsible for the Development, review, and optimization of P&ID drawings for various projects.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in P&ID design and engineering within the Oil and Gas sector.
• Proficiency in P&ID software tools such as AutoCAD, Smart Plant P&ID, or Aveva P&ID.
• Strong understanding of P&ID Development principles, industry standards (e.g., ANSI/ISA-5.1), and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and documents.
• At least 8 years of experience in engineering and project management in the oil and gas sector, including experience in EPCIM projects. Professional certificatione.g., COREN, NSE is mandatory.
• Relevant certifications in installation engineering, project management, or HSE are advantageous.
• Offshore survival certification (e.g., BOSIET) and offshore medical certification are desirable.
