Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced and professional Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, providing high-quality images for interpretation by our radiologists.
• This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout the procedure.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning correctly.
• Review and analyze images to provide accurate preliminary findings.
• Document findings and prepare reports for the radiologist.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Stay updated with advancements in sonographic technology and techniques.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding their procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Sonography or related field from an accredited institution with 1 - 3 years experience.
• Current certification and registration with relevant professional bodies.
• Proven experience as a Sonographer.
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and sonographic principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and software.
