Job Overview

  • We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Panel Beater to join our dynamic team.

  • This role is integral to ensuring the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of our vehicles, which are critical to our mission of providing superior defence solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Damage Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of vehicle damage, determining appropriate repair methods and preparing comprehensive repair plans.
  • Panel Repair and Replacement: Execute repairs and replacements of vehicle panels and structural components with precision. Employ advanced techniques to restore damaged panels to their original condition.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform high-quality welding and metal fabrication tasks, including MIG and spot welding, ensuring adherence to safety standards and industry best practices.
  • Surface Preparation and Finishing: Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and applying filler. Collaborate with the painting team to ensure a seamless finish.
  • Quality Control: Conduct meticulous inspections of finished repairs to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications. Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
  • Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and care for all tools and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition and reporting any issues to management.

Qualifications

  • At least 2-5 years proven experience as a Panel Beater.
  • Experience in repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels and bodywork is essential.
  • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve repair issues, including those related to vehicle structure and alignment.
