Job Description

• We are seeking to hire an Accountant to oversee all financial activities, including fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits, and budget management.
• Your responsibilities encompass auditing reconciling bank statements and determining tax obligations and returns etc.
• You will deliver precise quantitative insights regarding our company's financial status, liquidity, and cash flow, while ensuring adherence to all tax regulations, etc., and report to the HR Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial transactions
• Develop budget projections
• Timely release of financial statements
• Facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure prompt processing of bank payments
• Calculate taxes and prepare tax filings
• Administer balance sheets and income statements
• Provide reports on the organization’s financial status and liquidity
• Conduct audits of financial transactions and documentation
• Safeguard the confidentiality of financial data and perform database backups as needed
• Adhere to financial policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications / Requirements

• HND / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3 - 5 years work experience as an Accountant in real estate or any other organization
• Possession of additional certifications is advantageous.
• In-depth understanding of accounting standards and practices, particularly the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Practical experience with any accounting software is an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel, including advanced functions like Vlookups and pivot tables
• Familiarity with general ledger operations
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong analytical abilities.

Salary
N120,000 monthly, plus other welfare benefits.
