Quidax is an African focused cryptocurrency exchange. We enable customers to buy/sell Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies (Ethereum, USDT and Litecoin) with Naira.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Market Operations Associate

Location: Lagos (Remote)

About You

• We are looking for someone who would be involved in supporting the day-to-day activities of the Retail business for Quidax- the crypto currency trading platform.
• This role provides you an opportunity to demonstrate your special set of skills and requires the highest level of professional excellence and competence.

About the Job

• We need a Market Operations Associate to support the objective of our market operations which oversees all Retail activities through exchange trading and liquidity, settlement, reporting and other operations.
• An associate whose primary responsibilities are to support all operations as assigned by the Portfolio Manager in order to ensure maximum profitability and operational efficiency.

What your day to day at Quidax might look like:

• Monitoring the exchange to ensure easy and seamless execution of all customers related trades.
• Ensuring all market orders are loaded and report liquidity and all operational status as assigned by the Portfolio Manager
• Monitoring all orderbook processes to ensure no loopholes leading to failed trades before customer success picks on it
• Keeping daily trading blotter record of all Retail trades: Position and P&L
• Working closely with data analysts to provide useful data points in support of Market Operations
• Working closely with Treasury for timely market discovery and rate trending

Job Requirements
What you need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Trading Financial markets instruments (Currencies, Commodities or Fixed Income). Crypto trading experience provides an edge.
• 3 years technical trading experience in Crypto or Financial instruments.
• CFA/ACI or its equivalent.
• Experience working for a Crypto Exchange.
• Experience in order book trading.

Nice to have:

• Experience working for a Crypto Exchange.
• Experience in Orderbook Trading.
• Experience in a Traditional Finance/Banking Environment
