We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

Location: Ibeju- Lekki, Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the supervision of housekeeping staff, scheduling, and training.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to ensure cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness, proper maintenance, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and prompt resolution of guest requests and issues.
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost control.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Train and motivate housekeeping staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills,
  • knowledge, and tools to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff, recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance and addressing areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field. A certification in housekeeping management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably within the resort or hotel industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
