Position Description
  • Assist in the compilation and preparation of the final contract documents (and subsequent amendments) in accordance with tender conditions and the Standard conditions of contract, ensuring that the Company’s interests are adequately protected and all negotiations adequately documented
  • Vetting of all contracts not prepared by Company to ensure that they meet Company’s required standard
  • Handling of correspondences relating to contract exceptions and contractual matters and ensuring the quick resolution of all disputes arising from Contract negotiations.
  • Participate actively in contract negotiations with the contractors selected at the end of the tendering process, in conjunction with the Head Contract Dept., Sponsoring Dept., and all relevant departments as may be expedient.
  • Assist in the correct documentation, recording and endorsement of all Tender Board/Minor Tender Board decisions at all times in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist in the timely dissemination of accurate and reliable information to Management, HOD’s and Sponsors in respect of decisions relating to contract and tendering proposals at all times.
  • Other ad-hoc related duties as may be assigned by the Head, CDA Unit.
Position Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree (minimum of second class lower division) or its equivalent in Science, Engineering or any relevant social science discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years in materials/logistics, procurement, contracts and supply chainin the oil & gas industry and membership of relevant professional body is desirable.
