The West African College of Surgeons is a professional organization that promotes education, training, examinations and research in surgery in Africa. The college is the first organization to organize surgical subspecialty training in the region. In January 1975, the College was by resolution inaugurated as a constituent College of the West African Postgraduate Medical College (WAPMC) a specialized agency of the West African Health Community.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure accurate, timely recording of all financial transactions, maintain and reconcile balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Candidates should possess a Degree in Accountancy from a recognized institution
- Must possess relevant professional qualification
- Minimum of six years cognate experience
- Must be computer literate
- Honesty, personal integrity and ability for hard work are essential
- Must possess ability to follow set procedures
- Accuracy and attention to details.
