The West African College of Surgeons is a professional organization that promotes education, training, examinations and research in surgery in Africa. The college is the first organization to organize surgical subspecialty training in the region. In January 1975, the College was by resolution inaugurated as a constituent College of the West African Postgraduate Medical College (WAPMC) a specialized agency of the West African Health Community.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Assistant Chief Accountant
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the College.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, internal policies and present financial reports to the College's leadership and governing bodies, providing insights and recommendations.
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Candidates should possess a Degree in Accountancy from a recognized institution
- Must possess relevant professional qualification
- Minimum of seven years cognate
- Must be computer literate
- Honesty, personal integrity and ability for hard work are essential
- Must possess ability to follow set procedures
- Accuracy and attention to details.
