Job Title: Cook

Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Nigerian dishes according to established recipes and menus.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of Nigerian dishes, including appetizers, and desserts, according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriatly.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following all health and safety guidelines.
• Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must reside around Gwarinpa, Kubwa, Dawaki, Kagini or Deidei
• 3 - 9 years experience as a Cook or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Must adhere to uniform standards and maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
