We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • The CNC Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining computer-controlled machines to manufacture precision parts and components.
  • They will work closely with production teams to ensure efficient and high-quality production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor CNC machines, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and parts, ensuring proper setup and alignment.
  • Enter and edit programs, parameters, and settings to optimize machine performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine errors, alarms, and malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize production workflows and improve quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, including logs, reports, and quality control documents.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Participate in training and continuous learning to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Meet production targets, quality standards, and deadlines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., manufacturing, machining) preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in CNC operation or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machines, programming, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of CNC software and programming languages.
  • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials.
  • Wear PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
  • Rotate shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
