Job Title: HR Associate

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic HR Associate to join our Human Resources team.
  • The HR Associate will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in human resources, with a strong understanding of HR best practices, the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and proficiency in using Zoho People HRIS.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are well-integrated into the company.
  • Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and job boards.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
  • Support the HR Manager in handling employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and resolving conflicts.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture by supporting employee engagement initiatives.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the implementation of performance management processes, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and development plans.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
  • Track and report on employee performance metrics.

Compliance and Policy Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Learning and Development:

  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops for employees.
  • Support the HR Manager in identifying training needs and developing employee development programs.
  • Track and report on training participation and effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Assist in the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs.
  • Support the annual compensation review process.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Maintain HR databases using Zoho People HRIS and generate reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support HR decision-making.

Other Duties:

  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a solid understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Certification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Zoho People HRIS is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or dynamic industry.
