Job Title: Special and Education Need (SEN) Teacher
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality education and support to students with special educational needs
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans (PLPs) for each student
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure inclusive practices and support
- Adapt curriculum materials to meet individual student needs
- Assess and track student progress, reporting to parents and guardians
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education or related field
- Experience with SEN assessment and reporting tools
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with students with SEN (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties)
- Strong knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with SEN.
