Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and talented Culinary Chef to join our team.
  • The Culinary Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, designing and executing innovative menus, and leading a team of talented chefs and line cooks.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop creative, high-quality menu items that showcase the restaurant's cuisine and align with its brand and vision.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and quality control.
  • Supervise and train a team of chefs, line cooks, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the management team to control food and labor costs while maintaining the highest quality.
  • Research food trends and implement new cooking techniques, recipes, and presentations to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment in the kitchen.
  • Develop relationships with local suppliers and purveyors to source high-quality, fresh ingredients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Culinary Chef or in a similar leadership role in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful, innovative menus.
  • Hands-on expertise in a variety of cooking methods and cuisine styles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
  • Passion for food, creativity, and a commitment to culinary excellence.
  • Culinary degree or professional training preferred.
