Job Description

• The Project/Product Manager at Our Client'swill play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancingplatforms designed to assist top-tier professionals from Africa in obtaining the O-1 visa.
• This role involves managing the development and optimization of our user-friendly and compliant software solution, which facilitates a structured 7-month journey from candidate sign-up to application submission to USCIS.

Responsibilities
Project Management:

• Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for the VeriPass platform, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement strategies to address challenges and ensure timely delivery.

Product Management:

• Define and prioritize product features and enhancements to improve the platform's efficiency and user experience.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and user needs.
• Conduct market analysis and gather user feedback to inform product development and ensure high success rates for O-1 visa applications.

Platform Optimization:

• Oversee the design and implementation of platform features that support the structured 7-month journey for candidates.
• Ensure that the platform is user-friendly, compliant with regulations, and capable of handling the complexities of the O-1 visa process.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including immigration professionals, to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Ensure that the platform meets the needs of both applicants and immigration professionals, maintaining a high standard of service.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and achievements.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure that the platform complies with U.S. immigration regulations and data protection standards.
• Identify and manage potential risks related to platform development and implementation.
• Implement change management processes as needed to address evolving requirements and regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to project and product development, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; MBA degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in project management and product management, with a focus on software development.
• Proven experience with visa application systems or related software products is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma) and product management practices.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the O-1 visa process or a similar legal framework would be advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with business goals.
• Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing trends and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
