About the Job

  • A Legal Advisor provides legal guidance to the organization or clients.
  • Their primary duties include structuring solutions for disputes, providing support in legal issues and reviewing legal materials and contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities
Legal Advisors' duties include reviewing and negotiating contracts of daily operators, vendors and companies. Their main duties and responsibilities also include:

  • Assisting Directors in implementing the firm’s visions, plans and strategies as a whole
  • Maintaining the organization’s legal files and ensuring that the working practices are following its policies and regulations
  • Conducting/attending to organization cases and assisting other employees and partners in negotiating terms, representing and advising their clients
  • Ensuring that services are provided on time and updating clients constantly on the progress and costs
  • Professionally providing legal services and adhering to the experienced set of conduct by the Solicitors Regulation Authority
  • Developing strategies to match and beat the competition and providing the quality of service that clients require
  • Engaging with local communities, locals and referrers to promote the firm
  • Providing correct, honest and positive judgment at all times in the client’s best interests
  • Provide legal advice to the organization to avoid litigation and sue.
  • Conduct detailed due diligence, and inspect title examination, closing binder, and legal documents for legal risk, completion, and accuracy
  • Draft and review contracts, probate and trust documents, leases, financing statements, purchase and property management agreements, as well as title abstracts, summaries, and commitments, as required
  • Negotiate real estate transaction terms and conditions, and facilitate the transfer of title between borrowers, real estate agents, and title company
  • Represent clients at real estate closings, in real estate disputes, and real estate litigation
  • Interface with city boards and agencies to avoid zoning legal issues and obtain permits
  • Manage paralegals, clerks, and other assistants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law.
  • Strong experience in Real Estate Law, Hospitality, Agriculture and industry knowledge that includes litigation, lease transactions, property management, and purchase and sale transactions.
  • A natural leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
  • CCA, CMAA, and CTL will be added advantages.
