Position Summary
- We need a Regulatory Officer who can provide support for interpretation and compliance of NERC tariff regulations and position the organization for better meeting its regulatory obligations regularly.
- The person will be responsible for ensuring compliance by the company of NERCs regulations, prepare and submit to NERC and other government agencies KPI's and other reports; do calculations for tariff reviews and support the CLRO in all activities pertaining to the regulatory role.
Position Responsibilities
- Assuring the business' compliance with all statutory legal requirements .
- Providing support to CLRO on regulatory issues .
- Prepare and submit to NERC and other government agencies, KPI's and other reports
- Provide calculations for tariff reviews
Performance Profile
The most important performance objective for this position is:
- 30 Day Milestone
- Prepare and submit KPIs and other reports to relevant bodies
- Show understanding in the computation of tariffs by NERC
Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
Qualification:
- Good first degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or any related course.
Experience:
- At least 5 years regulatory experience, with experience in tariff computation (Telecom or Power Sector)
Competence:
- Must have good analytical skills and understanding of modeling and tariff structure.
- Must be good in MS Excel.
