We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Orphans and Vulnerable Program Associate

Location: Mushin, Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Program Associate will play a key role in supporting and implementing programs that provide care and support to orphans and vulnerable children in the communities.
  • S/he will provide technical and programmatic support primarily in the areas of HIV prevention, Community based HIV Care & Support for Vulnerable households affected by AIDS.
  • This position requires a strong commitment to serving those in need, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • The incumbent will support the development and implementation of programs and services for orphans and vulnerable children and facilitate support services, including educational, health, and psychosocial support, for program participants.
  • The position also requires collaboration with community partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of services and working with Peadiatric to ensure OVC program activities contribute to case finding using the AP3 approaches and assist in strengthening the linkage between CBOs and Health facilities (bi-directional referrals) for improved coordination of OVC service delivery.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Experience working with orphans, vulnerable children, or marginalized populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality.
