We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: HTS / KP Services Associate
Locations: Kaduna and Mushin, Lagos
Duties and Responsibilities
- The incumbent will support the implementation of program activities in HIV Testing Services (HTS), Safe & Ethical Index Testing Services (IT), HIV Self Testing (HIVST), & holistic Prevention Services (PrEP, Condoms, Lubricant, Peer-Education, & SBCC) strong linkages and referral systems for people living with HIV/AIDS among general & key populations.
- The job holder will work closely with the HTS/KP, & Prevention lead to ensure appropriate and quality services with the above-mentioned program activities are provided.
- He/She will support the mentoring and capacity building at the individual and organizational level for the KP groups and the expansion of community based HTS, task shifting and demand creation, especially aimed at key and vulnerable populations.
- Supervises/supports CBO in promoting community participation in HIV prevention for key and vulnerable populations as part of integrated community interventions.
- The incumbent will support site strengthening, follow-up and supervision, demand creation, policy support, capacity-building and M&E across program sites as required by program activities and state and community-level advocacy to health institutions to raise awareness about their role in improving health outcomes in HIV prevention for key and vulnerable populations.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Health Sciences, and Nursing required. Master’s in relevant field preferred
- At least 3 years’ experience training community health workers and/or CBOs in HIV interventions for key and vulnerable populations
- Experience building capacity at individual and organizational levels
- Skilled in at least two or more of the following technical areas: strengthening service delivery programs, performance and quality improvement, psychosocial support, monitoring and evaluation
- Experience in Key Population programming
