Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team.
• The Baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and desserts, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.
• This role requires a strong attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to delivering excellent products to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of goods such as rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, pastries, and other baked items according to recipes and production standards.
• Measure and mix ingredients to create doughs, batters, fillings, and icings.
• Monitor the baking process, adjusting temperatures and times as necessary to achieve the desired results.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the bakery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately.
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements:

• Mustbe living inLekki.
• Culinary or baking school certification.
• Experience with specialized baking, such as gluten-free, vegan, or artisan bread.
•  Familiarity with large-scale baking operations.
