Job Title: Estate Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Estate Officer to oversee the management of our properties and sourcing ‘For Sale’ and ‘For Lease’ properties needed by ready-to perform clients.
  • The Estate Officer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all estate-related activities, including property management, scouting of new properties in select locations, liaising with agents and leveraging networks.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Source ‘For Sale’ and ‘For Rent’ properties in select locations.
  • List properties on online and offline marketing channels including WhatsApp and Instagram.
  • Conducting property evaluations and appraisals.
  • Negotiating property purchases and sales.
  • Handling property title transfers and legal documentation.
  • Identifying investment opportunities and maximizing property value.
  • Manage aspects of property agency and management - including property inspections, preparation of offers and tenant selection.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties under management to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and other concerns, and coordinate repairs and renovations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of property-related transactions, leases, inspections, and maintenance activities. Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner, striving to maintain positive tenant relations.
  • Collaborate with external contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in property management, sales/marketing or real estate development, or a similar role. Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media marketing channels - WhatsApp & Instagram/TikTok
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Good attitude to work and strong confidence level.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Driving skills with valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of Instagram and TikTok.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office-based, but will involve site visits and inspections.
  • May require working irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

Salary and Benefits

  • Starting Salary: N100,000 Monthly (Salary will vary depending on experience, education, and location).
