SOBIC and Company is a rapidly expanding, opportunity-creating, and customer-focused microfinance Institution (MFI) in Nigeria. A member, of the Association of Non-Bank Microfinance Institutions of Nigeria (ANMFIN), the company registered in July 2008 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with head office located at Ibadan having severalbranches across the states.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Training and Development Manager

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • The Training Manager's role is to support the overall training strategy in line with the company's business strategy and help the business grow through its employees and learning & development initiatives. Furthermore, the role is to develop and enhance the skills of the operation team.
  • Complete ownership of the learning cycle from identifying needs to measuring the impact of learning.
  • Partner with the business managers to enhance the technical, professional & leadership skills of the respective team.
  • Collaborate with operation team to design and develop program content as required.
  • Developing Training Strategy (30%), Training Operations (50%) and MIS and Reporting (20%)
  • Evaluating individual and organizational performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
  • Identifying training needs by consulting with stakeholders and using needs assessments
  • Developing and delivering training solutions that meet business needs
  • Optimizing training processes for efficiency.
  • Selecting and managing resources, including working with internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.
  • Managing the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training.
  • And any other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND or B.Sc Degree in Social Sciences or relevant fields.
  • 2+ years relevant work experience.
  • Must be versatile in computer usage
  • Must be ready to reside within Ibadan.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development.

Salary
N100,000 Monthly.
