Society for Family Health (SFH) is one of Nigeria’s largest non-governmental organisations that improve access to essential health information, services, and products.

SFH is currently implementing ACTwatch and FPwatch integrated outlet surveys in the 36 states and FCT. The outlet survey is aimed at providing contemporary antimalarial, malaria blood testing and family planning commodities availability, price, and market share.

We require the services of resourceful and experienced graduates as:

Job Title:
Short-term Data Entry Assistant

Location:
Nigeria
Working Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm (Monday - Saturday)
Duration: Four (4) weeks from the 25th August, 2015.

Job Description
  • Society for Family Health Nigeria is currently implementing the 2015 ACTwatch and FPwatch Integrated Outlet Survey. Data collected at key outlet types (public health facilities and patent proprietary medicine vendors - PPMVs) in the six geo-political zones of the country will provide information for assessing the availability and affordability of ACTs, RDTs and Family Planning products and services in Nigeria.
  • We therefore require the services of skilled data entry consultants to enter the collated data using Microsoft Access software. The data entry clerks will be trained for a day on 25th August, 2015.
Basic Functions
  • Double data entry of ACTwatch and FPwatch outlet survey questionnaires.
  • Data cleaning of entered data for accuracy and completeness.
Position Requirements
Note: All applicants must adhere to each of the selection criteria detailed below with comprehensive information supporting each criteria or the application will not be considered.
  • Graduates with BSc, HND or its equivalent in Social sciences or Biological sciences or related field.
  • Prior experience in ACTwatch project data entry is of added advantage.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Competency in use of Microsoft Access software for data entry
  • Very high data entry speed of 60 words per minute
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and pay attention to details
  • Good English and Mathematics skills
Remuneration
Payment will be made per questionnaire entered and would be processed immediately after data entry is completed.
