We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Underwriting Department

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting healthcare provider audit, contracting, credentialing, onboarding, education and management
  • Developing and Reviewing allhealth plans and Deciding Premiums
  • Assessing each applicant’s medical history and establishing if they have any preexisting conditions
  • Maintaining strong relationship with clients to drive sales and network with new clients
  • Ensuring maximum client/enrolleessatisfaction and minimal complaints
  • Timely case Management and Vetting of bills for payments
  • Liaising with providers with a view to resolving claims issues
  • Providing technical assistance to the Health Services Department
  • Supporting business development activities, e.g. business presentations together with the team, preparation of bids and tenders, etc.
  • Carrying out medical quality assurance
  • Any other duties assigned by the Managementor the Designate

Requirements

  • First Degree in any discipline
  • Post Graduate qualification in any discipline
  • A Certification in Insurance is added advantage
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience post-NYSC
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role.
