Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor

Location: Falomo - Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting to: The operations Manager

Job Brief

  • We are seeking a diligent Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our cleaning team.
  • Your responsibilities will include organizing employee schedules, training and motivating team members, and inspecting facilities to ensure effective cleaning.
  • They should have a thorough understanding of cleaning procedures and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cleaning personnel
  • Inspect work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards
  • Plan and prepare employee work schedules
  • Conduct on-the-job training and orientation for new employees
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Order and distribute supplies and equipment
  • Record and maintain inventory data
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 - 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and practices
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
  • Understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards and procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team.

Additional Information:

  • Work Environment: The job is physically demanding, with significant time spent walking, bending, and pushing or lifting equipment. The majority of work is performed in a cleaning environment.
