Description 

• The Biomedical Engineer Specialist will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of medical devices and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of biomedical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop biomedical devices and systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct testing and validation of medical equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to assess equipment needs and provide technical support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to medical devices and systems.
• Maintain documentation related to design processes, testing, and compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in biomedical engineering.
• Participate in training and mentoring of junior engineers and interns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in biomedical engineering or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of medical device regulations (FDA, ISO, etc.).
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
