St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is a 64 bed hospital located in Ogungbade off New Ife road Ibadan. St Dominic Catholic Hospital is the vision of Dominican Sisters of St Catherine of Siena (Italy). We offer various medical services such as: General medicine, internal medicine, O & G, Laboratory, Radiology, to mention just a few. The hospital is run in collaboration with foreign partners. We are registered and licensed by the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Health. Also, we are accredited by the NHIS as both primary and secondary health care providers.

Job Title: Medical Doctor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients' medical conditions
• Provide high-quality patient care
• Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests
• Interpret test results and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and guidelines
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
• Patient care and diagnosis
• Treatment and management of medical conditions
• Medication prescription and management
• Medical research and staying current with latest medical knowledge
• Collaboration with other healthcare professionals

• Medical record keeping and documentation
• Adhering to ethical and legal standards

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD)
• Post NYSC experience
• Licensure to practice medicine
• Board certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Compassion, empathy, and strong patient care skills
