Job Title: Senior Vice President, Principal Investments and Private Equity

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Senior Vice President will act in the capacity of the head of Investment Banking and have overall
  • responsibility for this arm of the business; leading transaction evaluation and execution and providing
  • guidance.

Job Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a reputable University.
  • A minimum of twelve (12) years post NYSC experience gained in investment banking or similar environment.
  • Appropriate post-graduate and/or professional qualifications such as an MBA, CFA, M.Sc. in Finance, ACA, ACCA
  • The following will be added advantages:
    • An MBA from a reputable university
    • The CFA or ACCA/ACA designation
    • Advanced industry related qualification from a reputable institution

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing the execution of projects with clients which includes and is not limited to financial modeling, valuation, M&A advisory, preparation of information memorandum and transaction management
  • Managing projects and serving as team lead
  • Acting as an advisor/mentor to project team members and client teams
  • Ensuring timely delivery/execution of tasks and projects
  • Participating in project presentation to clients
  • Delivering professional presentations
  • Ensuring consistent quality of thought, work processes and deliverables
  • Ensuring quality of deliverables & work processes; checking against agreements to ensure conformity with contact guidelines and client expectations
  • Managing all aspects of client engagements with emphasis on solutions delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Lead others in negotiation activities; organise and develop proposals and management presentations
  • Formulate solutions to client needs by ensuring a thorough analysis of client opportunities, developing top level client relationships and harnessing the organisations skill pool in positioning Àrgentil as the Clients first in mind solution provider
  • Proactively generate ideas for marketing and solution delivery to existing and target clients
  • Be responsible for team development, performance management and managing overall human capital within the Division
  • Liaise with regulators including SEC in obtaining requisite licenses and ensuring the firm is always in good standing with the regulators
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Senior Partner
