We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facilities Coordinator

Location: Offshore, Nigeria
Reports to: Master

Job Summary

  • The Facilities Coordinator is responsible to the Master for the safe and efficient operation of the catering department.
  • The Facilities Coordinator co-ordinates with any persons necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management of the vessel's catering department Ensuring that personnel, food preparation and storage meet hygiene requirements.
  • Co-ordination of training for catering personnel with respect to food handling, hygiene and EHS matters.
  • Maintaining and ordering of adequate provision stocks and co-ordination of storage of food, cleaning materials.

Requirements

  • Facilities Coordinator must be qualified in accordance with the WOUS requirements for the Catering Manager.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as Facilities Coordinator onboard a vessel with a large crew compliment passengers.
  • Able to speak and understand English.
  • The Facilities Coordinator has the authority to stop ANY activity on the grounds of immediate safety, health and environmental hazards.
