Job Title: Petroleum Project Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• A Project Engineer is a professional who is responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of their assigned projects.
• They plan, schedule, predict, and manage all the technical tasks of their assigned project to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects
• Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Interacting daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Requirements

• B.Sc degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Proven working experience as a Project Engineer in an upstream oil company
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
• Project management and supervision skills
• Time management and organization skills
• Resident of Lagos State ( VI, Lekki)

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
