We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring optimal functionality and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for all facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate and supervise repair and maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee the quality of work performed by external contractors.
• Monitor and manage facility budgets, including forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues.
• Respond to and resolve facility-related issues and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the facility supports operational needs and enhances guest experiences.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.
• Certification in facilities management or related areas (e.g., Certified Facility Manager, Building Operator Certification) is a plus.
